Probable cause affidavit: \tSUBMITTED BY: LIOTTA, KATHLEEN 0417 (AR12-3417) \tdid knowingly give false information to a law enforcement officer, to-wit: DEPUTY CLAUDE, concerning the alleged commission of a crime, to-wit: SEXUAL BATTERY, in violation of Florida Statute 837.05(1). \t \tON 110312, AT APPROXIMATELY 1810 HOURS OUR AGENCY received A REPORTED SEXUAL BATTERY WITH THE DEFENDANT BEING THE NAMED VICTIM. ON 110312 THROUGH 110612 OUR AGENCY BECAME INVOLVED IN the INVESTIGATION OF THIS CASE. \t \tON 110612, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE LISTED VICTIM AT the CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. I CONDUCTED A SWORN INTERVIEW WITH THE VICTIM TO OBTAIN DETAILS REGARDING THE INCIDENT. I SPENT APPROXIMATELY TWO HOURS INTERVIEWING THE VICTIM. UPON CONCLUSION OF THE INTERVIEW AND POST MIRANDA SHE ADMITTED THAT SHE HAD FILED A FALSE REPORT. SHE HAD FIRST LIED AND INDICATED THAT SHE HAD NEVER TOLD ANYONE THAT SHE HAD BEEN RAPED. DURING THE COURSE OF THIS INTERVIEW, SHE CONTINUED TO LIE UNTIL SHE WAS CONFRONTED WITH REPORTS AND DOCUMENTS. SHE ULTIMATELY ADMITTED SHE HAD FILED A FALSE REPORT AND LIED BECAUSE THE PERSON THAT SHE HAD ACCUSED OF THE SEXUAL BATTERY NO LONGER WANTED TO HAVE RELATIONSHIP with HER. SHE ALSO INDICATED that SHE AND THE ORIGINALLY ACCUSED PERSON (MALE) HAD GOTTEN INTO A PHYSICAL ALTERCATION WHICH RESULTED IN HER BEING ARRESTED. SHE ADMITS THAT THE PHYSICAL ALTERCATION WAS REGARDING HIM MOVING ON TO START ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP WITH SOME ONE ELSE. SHE INDICATED THAT THERE HAS BEEN PREVIOUS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENTS BETWEEN HER AND THIS MALE. \t \tTHE DEFENDANT WAS CHARGED WITH FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT. THE DEFENDANT BOND WAS SET AT $500.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE.
