| Probable cause affidavit: | SUBMITTED BY: TAYLOR, SHELLEY 0401 (AR08101166) did unlawfully enter or remain in a certain dwelling or curtilage thereof, located at 4051 EAST PARSONS POINT ROAD IN HERNANDO, in the County and State aforesaid, the property of THE VICTIM, as owner or custodian thereof, without said person's consent, with the intent to commit an offense therein, to-wit: BURGLARY, in violation of Florida Statute 810.02(3)(B) AND did unlawfully enter or remain in a certain structure or curtilage thereof, to-wit: SHED, located at 2549 NORTH MEMORY POINT IN HERNANDO, in the County and State aforesaid, the property of THE VICTIM without said person's consent, with the intent to commit an offense therein TO WIT: BURGLARY in violation of Florida Statute 810.02(4)(A). ON 010708, A BURGLARY WAS REPORTED TO A DWELLING UNDER CASE 08010189. THE DEFENDANT REMOVED SEVERAL SCREENS FROM THE WEST SIDE OF THE RESIDENCE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GAIN ENTRY. THE BATHROOM WINDOW DID HAVE THE GLASS BROKEN OUT, WHERE ENTRY WAS ATTEMPTED. ALSO LOCATED ON THE WINDOWSILL WERE DROPLETS OF BLOOD AND LATENT FINGERPRINTS. THE DEFENDANT'S WALLET WAS ALSO DISCOVERED ON THE GROUND NEXT TO THE RESIDENCE, NEAR THE WINDOW. THE SUSPECT HAD ATTEMPTED TO PULL OPEN THE DOOR TO A SHED LOCATED NEXT TO THE RESIDENCE. WHILE CONDUCTING A NEIGHBORHOOD CANVASS ANOTHER BURGLARY TO A SHED WAS REPORTED UNDER CASE NUMBER 08010190. THE DEFENDANT ENTERED THE VICTIM'S SHED WHICH WAS ATTACHED TO A CARPORT NEXT TO THE RESIDENCE, WHERE A BOAT MOTOR AND A BLOWER AND MISCELLANEOUS TOOLS HAD BEEN REMOVED. THE BLOWER AND BOAT MOTOR WERE RECOVERED IN A THE NEIGHBOR'S YARD. WHILE RESEARCHING THE DEFENDANT'S CRIMINAL HISTORY, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT HE HAD BEEN ARRESTED ON 010708 UNDER CASE 08010185 FOR BURGLARY. THE DEFENDANT HAD BEEN DETAINED BY THE VICTIM AND WITNESS UNTIL DEPUTIES ARRIVED ON SCENE. A CRESCENT WRENCH HAD BEEN LOCATED IN THE DEFENDANT'S REAR PANTS POCKET. ON 010908, THIS DETECTIVE WAS CONTACTED BY the IDENTIFICATION AND EVIDENCE SECTION THAT THE DEFENDANT'S FINGERPRINTS WERE A MATCH TO THE LATENTS LIFTED FROM THE WINDOW IN CASE 08010189. ON 011008, THIS DETECTIVE CONTACTED THE VICTIM TO VERIFY IF HE WAS MISSING A CRESCENT WRENCH DUE TO MISCELLANEOUS TOOLS BEING REPORTED MISSING. THE VICTIM CONFIRMED HE WAS IN FACT MISSING A CRESCENT WRENCH FROM HIS SHED IN CASE NUMBER 08010190. ON 011008 THIS DETECTIVE MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT AT THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY WHERE HE IS ALREADY INCARCERATED. THE DEFENDANT WAS READ MIRANDA PER TEXT AND WAIVED HIS RIGHTS. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED THAT HE PARTIALLY REMEMBERS BEING ARRESTED BUT CANNOT RECALL ANY OTHER EVENTS AS HE WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF AN ILLEGAL NARCOTIC ON THE INCIDENT DATE. THE DEFENDANT WAS ARRESTED FOR TWO COUNTS OF BURGLARY AND HIS BOND WAS SET AT $20,000.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. *NOT-EXEMPT* |
