| Comments: | According to official documents, Kopp pled guilty to three(3) counts of Statutory Rape in the first degree and One(1) county of Indecent Liberties on March 31, 1988. Kopp was given a term of 12 months in jail and 48 months of active supervision. Between 2-1-1987 and 7-7-1987 Kopp was hired as a babysitter for two females, ages 4 and 7. Kopp sexually assaulted both of these children almost on a daily basis . Both victims were told not to tell anyone and he granted the victims special favors and bought them special treats to perform the sexual acts as well as withholding privileges if they did not. One of the victims disclosed and Kopp turned himself into the authorities the next day and gave a full confession. Kopp completed sex offender treatment while on supervision. Kopp no longer is under the supervision of the Department of Corrections. He only condition is to register for life, unless relieved by the courts |
