ON 103014 AT APPROXIMATELY 1755 HOURS I WAS DISPATCHED TO 3180 NORTH PAGE AVENUE IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY that JUST occurred. WHILE EN ROUTE TO THE SCENE, DEPUTY INDORATO HAD ARRIVED ON SCENE. DEPUTY INDORATO ADVISED ME TO RESPOND TO 2550 WEST HAYES STREET IN INVERNESS IN AN ATTEMPT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT. AS I ARRIVED AT THAT LOCATION I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT'S MOTHER WHO ADVISED HER DAUGHTER WAS OVER APPROXIMATELY TWO HOURS PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL. AT THAT TIME SHE CONTACTED THE DEFENDANT VIA TELEPHONE. SHE ADVISED the DEFENDANT I WAS AT THE RESIDENCE LOOKING FOR HER DUE TO THE FACT SHE WAS SEEN IN HER VEHICLE LEAVING THE AREA OF A BURGLARY that HAD JUST occurred. THE DEFENDANT TOLD HER MOTHER SHE WAS AT THE RESIDENCE WHERE THE BURGLARY occurred BECAUSE she WAS TAKING ITEMS FROM the VICTIM BECAUSE THE VICTIM OWED HER MONEY. I SPOKE WITH THE DEFENDANT ON THE TELEPHONE WHERE SHE PROVIDED ME WITH HER ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER AND ADVISED SHE would COMPLETE A STATEMENT ON WHY SHE TOOK THE ITEMS. I RESPONDED TO THE INCIDENT LOCATION WHERE I MADE CONTACT WITH THE WITNESS, MR JOSEPH BLAIR. THE WITNESS ADVISED THAT AT APPROXIMATELY 1745 HOURS HE HEARD SOMEONE BANGING AT THE NEIGHBORS HOUSE. AT THAT TIME THE WITNESS COULD SEE SEVERAL YOUNG PEOPLE MOVING STUFF OUT OF THE HOUSE. HE ADVISED AT FIRST HE THOUGH IT WAS HIS NEIGHBORS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A VEHICLE. HE STATED AT ONE POINT HE SAW THE SUBJECTS REMOVE SOMETHING FROM THE VEHICLE AND TOSS IT INTO THE YARD. THE WITNESS ADVISED HE SAW TWO YOUNG MEN AND A FEMALE. AFTER THE WITNESS OBSERVED THE SUBJECTS LOAD A BLUE S-10 JIMMY TYPE VEHICLE HE ADVISED THEY LEFT WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE WITNESS STATED THAT APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES LATER THE NEIGHBORS RETURNED HOME WHERE THE CAME OVER TO THE WITNESSES HOUSE TO USE HIS TELEPHONE TO REPORT THE BURGLARY. WHEN THE WITNESS DESCRIBED THE PEOPLE TO THE VICTIM, SHE WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE DEFENDANT BY THE VEHICLE. I MADE CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM, WHO ADVISED she LEFT HER RESIDENCE AROUND 1230 HOURS WHERE SHE WENT TO HER FATHER'S HOUSE ON MARY LUE STREET IN INVERNESS. SHE RETURNED HOME JUST BEFORE 1800 HOURS WHERE SHE NOTICED TWO CINDER BLOCKS IN HER FRONT YARD. SHE ADVISED WHEN she ENTERED HOME, SHE NOTICED HER TELEVISION HAD BEEN PULLED AWAY FROM the WALL and the DVD PLAYER WAS MISSING. AS SHE CONTINUED TO WALK THROUGH HER RESIDENCE SHE NOTICED MORE MISSING ITEMS TO INCLUDE A DEWALT CORDLESS DRILL, A RED AND BLACK MURRAY WEED EATER, A PRESSURE WASHER, THREE PAIRS OF SUNGLASSES, AND A PINK STEP STOOL. THE VICTIM PROVIDED A LIST OF MISSING ITEMS WHICH WILL BE TURNED IN TO RECORDS. the VICTIM ADVISED ME THAT SHE KNEW THE CINDER BLOCKS CAME FROM HER FRIEND SHANNON'S VEHICLE BECAUSE she KEPT THEM IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE FOR WEIGHT PURPOSES TO MAKE THE VEHICLE RIDE BETTER. AT THAT TIME I CONTACTED DISPATCH AND REQUESTED A CRIME SCENE SPECIALIST (CSS) RESPOND. CRIME SCENE SPECIALIST (CSS) HOLDER RESPONDED TO THE SCENE. I RESPONDED TO THE DEFENDANT RESIDENCE AT 7254 WEST HADENOTTER LANE IN HOMOSASSA, WHERE I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT. I ADVISED THE DEFENDANT THAT I WOULD NEED A WRITTEN STATEMENT FROM HER. THE DEFENDANT COMPLETED A WRITTEN STATEMENT STATING she WAS TRYING TO GET MONEY THAT WAS OWED TO HER BY THE VICTIM. WHEN the DEFENDANT ARRIVED AT THE VICTIM'S RESIDENCE SHE ADVISED the FRONT DOOR WAS OPEN. AT THAT TIME she ENTERED the RESIDENCE TO LOOK FOR THE VICTIM. WHEN THE DEFENDANT REALIZED the VICTIM WAS NOT HOME she BECAME VERY ANGRY AND TOOK SOME OF THE VICTIM'S BELONGINGS AS COLLATERAL UNTIL THE VICTIM GAVE HER the MONEY SHE WAS OWED. TAKING THE ITEMS SHE RETURNED TO HER RESIDENCE WHERE SHE WAS GOING TO KEEP THE ITEMS THERE IN AN ATTEMPT TO TEACH THE VICTIM A LESSON. THE DEFENDANT WAS VERY COOPERATIVE WHERE SHE ADVISED the ITEMS WERE BEHIND THE HOUSE AND HAD HER SON BRING THEM TO THE FRONT OF THE RESIDENCE DUE TO THERE BEING A DOG IN THE BACK YARD. AT THAT TIME DEPUTY STOKES/736 ARRIVED ON SCENE TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE STOLEN ITEMS. AT THAT TIME I TOOK THE DEFENDANT TO THE SIDE OF MY PATROL VEHICLE WHERE I ADVISED HER SHE WAS BEING PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR BURGLARY. THE DEFENDANT REPLIED SHE HAD A FEELING THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. THE DEFENDANT ASKED IF SHE COULD TAKE HER BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION PRIOR TO LEAVING FOR THE JAIL AS SHE HAD NOT TAKEN IT YET. I ADVISED THE DEFENDANT THAT SHE COULD TAKE HER BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION, HOWEVER I WOULD HAVE TO WALK INSIDE WITH HER. AS I WAS WALKING BEHIND THE DEFENDANT TOWARD HER RESIDENCE SHE BECAME VERY ANGRY AND PUNCHED THE PASSENGER WINDOW OF HER CAR. THE DEFENDANT WAS ADVISED IF SHE HAD ANY OTHER OUTBURSTS LIKE THAT she WOULD BE TAKEN STRAIGHT TO JAIL WHERE SHE THEN APOLOGIZED. AT THAT TIME, DEPUTY SCHAFFER AND I ENTERED THE RESIDENCE WITH THE DEFENDANT SO SHE COULD TAKE HER MEDICATION. UNTIL THAT POINT THE DEFENDANT HAD BEEN COMPLETELY COOPERATIVE AND SHOWED NO SIGNS OF AGGRESSION. ONCE THE DEFENDANT ENTERED HER RESIDENCE SHE BEGAN TO YELL AT DEPUTY SCHAFFER AND ME, SAYING ALL OF THIS WAS THE COPS FAULT AND SHE SHOULD NOT BE GOING TO JAIL. THE DEFENDANT THEN REMOVED THE CAP TO A PILL BOTTLE WHERE SHE ATTEMPTED TO POUR THE BOTTLE OF PILLS IN TO HER MOUTH. DEPUTY SCHAFFER AND I GRABBED THE DEFENDANT WHERE DEPUTY SCHAFFER APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE AREA OF HER THROAT AND STERNUM WHICH KEPT THE DEFENDANT FROM SWALLOWING ANY PILLS. THE VICTIM BEGAN TO SPIT UP APPROXIMATELY TEN TO FIFTEEN PILLS. ONCE SHE HAD THE PILLS OUT OF HER MOUTH SHE WAS HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE LOCKED) BEHIND HER BACK EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES THEN RESPONDED TO THE SCENE WHERE THEY ADVISED the DEFENDANT HAD VERY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. THE DEFENDANT WAS TRANSPORTED TO SEVEN RIVERS HOSPITAL BY MEDIC UNIT 117 FOR TREATMENT. UPON BEING CLEARED BY THE DOCTOR AT SEVEN RIVERS HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM THE DEFENDANT WAS TRANSPORTED TO CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING. CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY STAFF WAS NOTIFIED TO HAVE HER PLACED ON SUICIDE WATCH. THE DEFENDANT WAS RELEASED ON HIS OWN RECOGNIZANCE.
